Rebel Roots is our seasonal story at ReCreation. Part family stay. Part village gathering. Part carefully crafted summer rhythm designed to help families slow down and reconnect.
Mornings begin down by the river and inside Nature Club. Children gather with songs, games, movement, seasonal rituals, and hands-on projects before heading into the day’s making. One group might be building bamboo water systems beside the river. Another could be dyeing fabrics for wearable
costumes, creating recipe zines for Rebel Bars, gathering herbs for teas and remedies, or rehearsing spoken word and music for the Friday Village Celebration. The week is designed to balance freedom with structure. Energy with calm. Creativity with rest. There’s a reason children settle here so quickly. The days have shape. The village holds them.
